Hampton Court Palace

Henry VIII’s Pleasure Palace!

Enjoy a taxi tour to the beautiful Hampton Court Palace. Marvel at the splendour of the 16th century Palace and join your taxi tour guide on a relaxed guided tour through the Palace.

Hampton Court is often described as two Palaces in one, due to the two time periods it was built over, and you’ll be able to experience both on this tour.

There’s the magnificent 16th century court of Henry VIII with all its extravagance, and then the 18th century Court of William III and Mary II, and the impressive building built for him by Sir Christopher Wren, the most eminent architect of that period.

Beautiful gardens surround the palace, complete with the famous maze to get lost in!

Stonehenge. The very name conjures up images of an ancient time and is one of the great untold mysteries of the world.

One of the country’s most visited landmarks, Stonehenge is about a 2 hour drive from London and your taxi will take you back to an age where the mystical Stones were painstakingly laid out in a stone circle, that has subsequently baffled experts throughout the centuries.

There is an Exhibition area that helps explain the history of the area and a Souvenir Shop and Café to relax in after you visit.

With the help of your friendly taxi tour guide, see the age-old stones for yourself, examine the evidence, and come up with your own theory of how they got there and why!
