Having read my fair share of spy novels, to have the MI6 building on the south side of Vauxhall Bridge looking like something out of Gotham City, grabs my imagination everytime. MI6 also known as SIS (Secret Intelligence Service) have been here since 1994. The architect Tony Farrell’s design is supposed to be a cross between Battersea Power Station and an Aztec Temple. Contains sixty different roof areas and twenty-five types of glass to keep it safe, but nevertheless it has been ‘blown up’ in both the James Bond Skyfall and Spectre movies!
